Urbanistic Tea are delighted to invite you to our first mindful tea tasting evening, set in a beautiful and tranquil yurt nestled away in Limehouse. Join us for an informal and relaxed evening where you will learn about and try a variety of loose leaf teas and how tea can be used as tool for mindfulness.
We’re also lucky to be joined by Jess Cook, a teacher from Will Williams Meditation, who will be introducing us to Vedic meditation and helping to weave together an inspiring evening of conscious tea tasting and an exploration into what it means to be living life at its optimum.
Vedic meditation is one of the most ancient meditation practices we know of. With its roots in India over 10000 years ago, it is fast becoming one of London's most sought after techniques. And it is easy to see why. With a use of a personal sound or mantra, one is able to access a state of relaxation that isn't reachable in a night's sleep. After 20 minutes of using this sound, you are calm, cool, energised, flowing with creative energy and totally ready for the day ahead. It is simple, portable, extremely enjoyable and profoundly effective.
